General Hospital Spoilers July 2: Ava Desperately Attempts to Erase Her Deception

General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, July 2, focus on scandals, scandal erasure, revengendas, and heart-to-hearts. Prepare yourselves for the fallout of Ava playing dirty.

Disguising Deception

Oh, Ava (Maura West). It’s either zero or scorched earth with her. No in-between. Sonny (Maurice Benard) gave her the ol’ heave ho out of his place and threatened to reconfigure their custody agreement. And now Ava’s resorting to underhanded tactics and using Natalia (Eva LaRue) to do it.

Needless to say, outing Natalia’s divisive words about her daughter and her girlfriend will send her into dangerous territory. Territory where her enemies may rise up to stop her from causing further damage. So, look for Ava to attempt to cover her tracks. We’re unsure if she’ll succeed, but we can’t wait to see her try.

Hot Seats and Lawyering Up

Somebody who might want to cover her tracks retroactively is Natalia (a character LaRue says she couldn’t be more different from). Obviously, she’s in the hot seat. But there’s no mistaking it. She said what she said. How will she explain herself to everybody in her life? What approach will she take? An apologetic one? Or will she come up with some lame excuse that satisfies no one?

Did Ava think that going after Natalia would stop Sonny from taking Ava to court over Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola)? If anything, Sonny’s not going to back down anytime soon. Because he is already meeting up with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy). What plans do they make?

Heart-to-Hearts and Crushed Feelings

Meanwhile, Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) have a heart-to-heart. Will the deep conversation between the mom and daughter involve reassessing Kristina’s relationship with Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez — who recently coordinated a soap-star-filled outing to a drag brunch)?

Unsurprisingly, Blaze is crushed over this Invader article, in which her mom’s words were put on blast. She received an unfiltered glimpse into what her mom truly feels about her relationship with Kristina, her sexuality, and the LGBTQIA+ community as a whole. What Ava unleashed has turned into a disaster so far. Will Blaze be able to salvage a relationship with her mom? Also, how will she and Kristina proceed from here on out?
