General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 18, focus on friendship connections and issuing apologies. Plus, Natalia and Sonny working together?
Jarly Quality Time
Jason (Steve Burton — who talks about what he’ll never do on GH again) and Carly (Laura Wright) probably have a few things to work out. Carly knows that she’s the leverage Cates (Adam Harrington) held over Jason’s head. It’s the reason why he spent almost three years away from Port Charles. Jason’s focus has been attempting to extricate himself from his informant role without affecting his bestie. As a result, he has been working with Anna (Finola Hughes) to bring down Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Other than looking in on his sons, that’s been his focus.
It’s time for Jason and Carly to reconnect, so they make a trip to the footbridge. Will they hash out everything that’s happened since he returned to Port Charles? Is he about to fill her in on the fact that she probably no longer needs to worry about going to prison? Does she tell him why she’s basically blabbed every detail of her circumstances to Brennan (Charles Mesure)?
Bonding Sessions
Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dex (Evan Hofer) are apparently about to bond. It makes sense since Chase is a seasoned cop, and Dex is a rookie with the PCPD. What does this bonding involve?
Meanwhile, Cody (Josh Kelly) and Tracy’s connection further solidifies when he opens up to her. Surely, he tells her about how he came clean to Mac about being his son. On top of that, he should tell her how he was a lying liar who lied for months and months when he kept the paternity secret from Mac. Tracy (Jane Elliot), no doubt, will be able to wow him with her wisdom and give him a perspective he may not have thought of before.
Apologies and Mea Culpas
Sonny (Maurice Benard) recently made peace with Nina when he told her he should have handled their fallout differently. That must have inspired Nina (Cynthia Watros) because she is set to issue an apology. The question here is, who’s on the other end of this apology? (GH’s Cassandra James celebrates her birthday)
Finally, Natalia (Eva LaRue) and Sonny work together to pitch an idea to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). 1) Why is Sonny going out of his way to help Natalia? 2) Do they brainstorm a way for Natalia to help make up for the damage her hurtful words have caused? At this point, Natalia should suggest that Brook Lynn start her own music label so that Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) can be free to make music the way she wants. What would be even better is if Natalia paid for this venture.
