General Hospital Spoilers Video Preview July 11: Ava and Sonny Prepare for Trouble

The next General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, July 11, 2024, focus on metallosis madness, fatherly fallout, and enemies eagerly securing alliances.

Coming up in Port Charles

“I don’t want it to be put to the test.” Does it sound like Heather (Alley Mills) doesn’t want Laura (Genie Francis) to follow up on her metallosis case? How will Laura respond? Interestingly, Heather showing guilt and the appropriate amount of shame will probably result in Laura doubling down on seeing what the courts have to say. Or will the mayor even listen to the prisoner?

Knowing Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner), they will want to fix things between Cody (Josh Kelly) and Mac (John J. York). First up, Maxie wants to understand why Mac has decided to take “a hard line” with Cody, a man he now knows as his son.

Next, it’s Felicia’s job to deal with Cody. He’s in flight-or-flight mode right now. Both Maxie and Sasha have attempted to make him promise not to leave town. But the man is clearly skittish. Cody dropped this bombshell on Mac and his family, and he’s too scared to want to stick around and wade through the pain that he caused. Will Felicia get through to him? And finally, it’s time for Ava (Maura West) and Sonny (Maurice Benard — who explains why he temporarily left GH here) to batten down the hatches. These two lonely, isolated, angry people need allies. Easier said than done, right? Ava turns to Agent Cates (Adam J. Harrington) of all individuals! What’s she cooking up that she needs him on her side. Have these two even talked before? They do have something in common: they hate Sonny.

Meanwhile, Sonny turns to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), a natural ally. After all, she hates Ava as much as he does. He simply wants to know if Alexis will support him. Ms. Davis might analyze the pros and cons for a bit before coming around to stand firmly by his side. Right?
