General Hospital spoilers for Monday, July 1, focus on comfort, sharing intel, and that old soap opera favorite: eavesdropping.
Hurt and Comfort
It’s been roughly six months since Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) “died,” and Trina is finally taking steps to get her life back. She’s moved out of her mom’s house (did we ever see the moving-out convo between Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Brook Kerr’s Portia?). Plus, she’s continued to work at Ava’s art gallery. (Find out about Jonathan Jackson’s return to GH here)
Look for Joss (Eden McCoy) to comfort Trina on Monday. Is this about Trina’s continued grief for Spencer? Another option is how shaken she was when Ava (Maura West) was on the warpath against Sonny (Maurice Benard). Ava’s fury is on a level that nobody can unsee. What exactly causes Trina to need a shoulder to lean on?
Playing Dirty
Do not look for Ava to back down anytime soon. When this woman is scorned, she goes all in on playing dirty. And her grudges, revenge plots, and super secret schemes aren’t brief flashes of light. Ava tends to prolong the torture and the mayhem. So what down-and-dirty play does she concoct this week?
Nina (Cynthia Watros) is also no stranger to playing dirty. Teasers suggest she acts a little shady when she eavesdrops. Who’s on the other end of her eavesdropping session? Sonny? Drew (Cameron Mathison)? Willow (Katelyn MacMullen — who recently celebrated a birthday)? More importantly, will this information she acquires from overhearing a conversation not meant for her be of value to her?
Big Moves and Big Intel
Unsurprisingly, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) makes a big move. Are we finally at the point where Alexis quits The Invader in favor of becoming a partner in Diane’s (Carolyn Hennesy) law firm? After all, she learned she could practice law again. She simply has to take some continuing education classes to get herself up to speed on how the kids practice law these days. Is there a possibility Alexis decided to go a route other than Diane’s firm?
Finally, Jordan (Tanisha Harper) shares intel with Drew. Currently, their business involves a project that promises to beautify the Port Charles landscape. But with Drew running for Congress, is this intel about something more political in nature? How important is this information to Drew or Drew’s campaign? (Find out who GH’s Josh Kelly would like to share more screen time with here)
