Next on General Hospital: Monday, January 5, 2026

Refusing to Back Down

Laura (Genie Francis) has already had it up to here with being under Sidwell’s thumb. Now she has to approve helipads on Spoon Island and the waterfront property so the criminal warlord can go where he pleases, when he pleases, as quickly as possible? Laura will probably go along, but she won’t want to. Plus, Sidwell (Carlo Rota) made a not-so-veiled threat about Ace’s safety.

Needless to say, the weekly spoilers reveal that Laura will stand her ground. She is someone who will take action in any way she can. For one, she will tell Kevin (Jon Lindstrom, who’s currently pulling double duty) to take that gig in Ireland and to take Ace (Karis and Kieran Barry) with him. And with Ace gone, she can feel freer to tell Sidwell where to go.

Alexis Targets Michael

While Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wisely refrains from entering that anonymous note into the proceedings, she plans to build the case against Michael (Rory Gibson) on her own. She will call everyone who can testify to the fact that Michael is a viable suspect and should probably be the one on trial, rather than Willow (Katelyn MacMullen).

This means Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) gets called back to the stand. He is aware of all the evidence, circumstantial or otherwise, against Michael. Plus, because Dante is Michael’s brother, his bias can be called into question. How will Dante hold up on the stand this time?

Hardcore Michael Cheerleader

It appears that Kristina (Kate Mansi) is one of Michael’s biggest cheerleaders. It really feels that she will go to bat for him, whether he shot Drew (Cameron Mathison) or not. So it’s not surprising to see that Kristina makes a tempting offer.

In the quick preview at the end of Friday’s GH, Kristina is shown making an offer to Michael’s alibi, Jacinda (Paige Herschell, who has had the time of her life playing Jacinda). If this is what happens on Monday, does Jacinda take her up on her offer?

Elsewhere in Port Charles

Brennan (Chris McKenna) did what Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) wanted. He got her medical license restored. Now Britt needs to give Brennan what he wants. And that is everything about what she’s doing in those labs. He wants the information, names, dates, anything and everything she can provide.

The problem is that Britt is scared about what will happen if she gives Brennan what he wants. Sidwell always seems to be a few steps ahead, especially with that pesky Pascal (Marc Forget) on his side. Britt is caught between Sidwell and Brennan. What will she do? This is what we in the business call a lose-lose situation. Our advice? Go for the third option. Tell Jason (Steve Burton) everything and accept his help.

Finally, Portia’s life is in shambles. At the same time, there are some positives. For instance, Portia (Brook Kerr) is having a baby, and she’s with a man who doesn’t demand the world from her. Look for Portia to confide in Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). She will probably have a lot to chat about. After all, she is suspended and could face trouble that has nothing to do with the impending paternity test.
