General Hospital Spoilers January 30: Carly and Brennan’s Bond Deepens…After Valentin Attack

In addition to Carly and Brennan getting closer, General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 30, 2025, focus on a stunned Molly and Kristina while Cody jumps to conclusions.

If Carly (Laura Wright) and Brennan (Charles Mesure) get closer, then Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) murderous attempt has to fail. And that’s exactly what happened in Wednesday’s episode, thanks to Carly’s last-minute heroics.

Now, Brennan is alive and well, and he’s able to further his bond with the woman he’s been pursuing in slow-burn fashion. After the attack, he headed to Carly’s room, where things sped up considerably. They shared a kiss. And, who knows, things may progress from there. What are people — namely Jason (Steve Burton) — going to think when they inevitably return to Port Charles?

Confessional

While we wait and wait (and wait) for another Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Rocco (Finn Carr) scene, she and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) have a revealing conversation. She was with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) when he found out that Sam (ex-Kelly Monaco) was murdered. So, it’s understandable she would need to talk to her friend, who’s the best choice because Maxie is the holder of all of Port Charles’s secrets. It’s practically a requirement. If you need someone to unload a secret to, then Maxie’s your girl.

Elsewhere, Dante briefs Chase (Josh Swickard). These two are quite the pair. Chase just found out about his inability to father a child. Dante learned how Sam died, and now he has to fill in the blanks for his partner. Will Dante work the case even though he’s too close to it, and doing so would be a huge conflict of interest?

Stunned Sisters and Messy Cody

If Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) knows the real reason Sam died, then her daughters must know the news as well—or they’re about to know the news. Needless to say, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) are stunned. So, what do they do with this new knowledge? Will they let the police handle it or join their mom in seeking answers?

Finally, Cody (Josh Kelly) jumps to conclusions. Shocker. Cody’s on a fast-paced rollercoaster that consists of sharp twists and turns and won’t slow down. He gambled and lost, and he’s taking it hard. And now he is making bad choices. So, jumping to conclusions is probably the least messy of all the messy things he’s done since arriving in Port Charles. Having said that, he’s so going to assume Jason is the father of Sasha’s baby, isn’t he? After all, he caught the two having a moment over Sasha suddenly feeling her baby.
