Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) has suffered a heartbreaking, career-ending football injury. So, the optimistic attitude that Stella (Vernee Watson) appreciated and noted disappeared in a split second. Kai must be anxious, angry, and in denial. And he’s most certainly wondering what he’ll do next. It’s Plan B for him whether he likes it or not.
Enter Trina (Tabyana Ali). She knows what it’s like to have your life suddenly bottom out. It’s been a year since she lost Spencer (ex-Nicholas Alexander Chavez). Trina has the ability to help a friend and share what she has learned. According to the teasers, Trina encourages Kai. Can she lift Kai’s spirits when he doesn’t want to admit he’s lost?

In GH’s weekly video preview, Portia (Brook Kerr) tells Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that Sam’s (ex-Kelly Monaco) death wasn’t an accident. It was completely intentional. And this leaves the lawyer to draw a painful conclusion. Sam was murdered. Alexis is left reeling on Tuesday. Now that she knows that her oldest daughter was murdered, what will she do about it?

Next, Chase (Josh Swickard) is with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) when he gets the update on the results of his and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) recent medical examinations. And Willow’s expert assessment wasn’t good. When Chase has news for Brook Lynn, how will Brook Lynn react?
Meanwhile, Carly (Laura Wright) is at the burn clinic in Germany, trying to be Michael’s (ex-Chad Duell) support and his rock during this painful ordeal. However, Carly receives a warning. What warning gets to her all the way in Germany? Does Jack (Charles Mesure) relay the urgent message? If he’s not a part of this equation, then who is? Is Sidwell (Carlo Rota) the source of the warning? After all, he may be responsible for setting that explosion that caused Michael’s extreme burns.
Anna (Finola Hughes), the PCPD Commish, is super busy with case after case, taking up her time. She just had that meeting with Laura (Genie Francis), where they put Sidwell on notice. Of course, she also spends a lot of time running to Jack for help and emoting with Jason (Steve Burton). But her granddaughter is in town, and the two have stuff to talk about. Emma’s in sort of her bad girl era. Is this why Anna confronts Emma (Braedyn Bruner)? What does she want with her granddaughter?
