General Hospital Spoilers January 21: Sonny and Ava’s Custody Battle Rages On

In addition to Sonny and Ava clashing, General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, January 21, focus on Willow voicing her regrets and Tracy stonewalling Anna.

Ava (Maura West) has reason to fret over Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola), who lives with Sonny (Maurice Benard) much of the time. Thankfully, she was with her sister Donna (Scarlett Spears) at Carly’s (Laura Wright) the night of the explosion that caused Michael (Chad Duell) so much pain.

Everybody knows someone was coming after Sonny. And Ava will undoubtedly point that out to the coffee importer. She feels Ava would be safer with her. Of course, things get tense when Sonny and Ava find themselves in the same room. So Avery’s parents do and will clash on Tuesday. But what they need to do is forget the fighting and figure out a solution once and for all.

Regrets and Gratitude

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) has pretty much walked back the whole leveraging Michael for the kids fiasco. Now, she’s including Carly and Sonny in the decisions about Michael’s care and next steps. She suddenly voices her regrets. In what sense? Does Willow talk about her marriage to Michael imploding? Or the decisions she’s made since Michael got injured?

Meanwhile, Carly is understandably grateful to Brennan (Charles Mesure). This tells us Michael probably decided to go to the burn clinic in Germany instead of Johns Hopkins. Of course, Brennan came through for her again. Ultimately, what does this mean for Carly and Brennan? Will their friendship or non-transactional relationship progress into something else? Or does Carly just need to focus on Michael right now?

Kid Talk

It has been a second since Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) updated Maxie (Kirsten Storms) on her dramatic life. Maxie already knows that Sasha is pregnant and is keeping the baby. What else does Sasha have to tell Maxie? Oh, that the baby is Michael’s and that they conceived said baby while they had drunk sex? Is Sasha actually ready to go there with Maxie? Michael getting hurt might mean she wants to get this secret off her chest.

Finally, Tracy (Jane Elliot) employs a specific strategy after Drew (Cameron Mathison) has her arrested. Tracy’s hauled to the PCPD, and that’s where she stonewalls Anna (Finola Hughes). We’re guessing this means she’s not about to tell anyone where Amelia (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) and Wiley (Viron Weaver) are anytime soon. The battle for Michael and Willow’s kids has achieved hot mess status. Who’s going to be the voice of reason?
