General Hospital Spoilers January 13: Can Concerned Parents Nina and Sonny Strike a Deal?

It’s a meeting of the minds when Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) confront each other. They are on better terms these days, but they sure don’t find themselves in the same vicinity that often. Well, that has to change now that his son Michael (Chad Duell) is fighting for his life after he filed for divorce from her daughter Willow (Katelyn MacMullen).

Teasers suggest the exes actually make a compromise. Do the two take it upon themselves to de-escalate what is already a high-pressure, highly volatile divorce? Do they decide to compromise on how to handle Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko)? Or a different element of the divorce?

Warnings and a Big Leap

Carly (Laura Wright) already confronted Drew (Cameron Mathison). On Monday’s episode, Carly issues a warning. If she’s moved on from Drew, maybe she unleashes the warning on Willow. She had no idea that her son’s marriage would implode the way it has. She also has no idea that Michael was up to his own extracurricular activities. Until she does, the warnings for Willow will presumably keep on coming.

Meanwhile, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) leaps to action. Considering Cyrus (Jeff Kober) just injected Michael’s IV with digitalis, Dr. Gannon probably reverts to hero mode to save his patient. He’s not going to let what happened to Sam (formerly Kelly Monaco) and Dex (formerly Evan Hofer) happen to Michael, right? Does Isaiah stay close to Michael, thinking that he might be a target? Or is it pure luck that he’s able to get to Michael in time?

Close Moments and Catching Up

Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) have fully put the enemies phase of their relationship behind them. They’re now supporting each other and are on friendly terms. So it’s no surprise that Kai and Trina share a close moment on Monday. This bond between the QB1 and the artist is apparently on an upward trajectory. Where will the two go from here?

Finally, a favorite GH friendship is the one between Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Stella (Vernee Watson). There has been so much turmoil, angst, and death in Port Charles lately (also one person fresh out of a coma) that there hasn’t been a lot of time for the PC citizens to sit down with a friend and just talk. Well, it looks like that’s what we’re getting when Tracy and Stella catch up. They haven’t seen each other since 2024.
