The birth of a baby is normally a beautiful thing but not so much for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). The emergency cesarian goes downhill fast and things are not looking good. Will Sasha and her baby survive?
Speaking of babies, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) reels from Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) deception and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) bombshell. Talk about a gut punch! Adding to the situation is Maxie Jones’s (Kirsten Storms) own related drama. She worries everything is spiraling out of control — and she’s not wrong!
When it comes to daddy issues no one has it worse than Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Is Marshall (Robert Gossett) really his dad? He turns to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) for support and the good doc has questions.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) sets Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) straight. What they had in Nixon Falls was a fantasy at best. It’s over and there is no going back. Her lies, deceit, and betrayal are unforgivable acts — to his family, at least — but are they to Sonny?

General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
Bringing the Drama
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
