What’s better than a chance for your Port Charles favorites to frolic and flirt at the Quartermaine picnic? Looks for some serious sparks to start flying between Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), as she tells him to show her what he’s got! He tells her to be prepared to be amazed!

The announcer then says, “Love begins to spread its wings” as Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) looks soulfully into Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) eyes, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) clinks champagne glasses with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) goes in for a kiss with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).
Elsewhere, Olivia Falconeri Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) playfully orders Willow Tait (Katelynn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to take their son out there and have fun. That is the moment we see the barbecue fire rage, and the announcer returns to say, “But danger looms in the shadows,” as someone reaches for a glove and a weapon. Will something awful happen? General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and was created by the husband and wife team of Frank and Doris Hursley, taking place at a hospital but in an unnamed city. In fact, the setting wasn’t named as Port Charles until the 1970s. General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) super spy exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
