Ava Jerome (Maura West) finds herself in quite a bind since konking Nikolas to death over the head. But is he dead? Dead men don’t usually walk away, and now she and her partner-in-crime, Austin (Roger Howarth), are finding out more about what happened that fateful night. But first, they need to cover their tracks.

“Don’t give anyone a reason to suspect you,” Ava instructs a nervous Austin. Unfortunately, the doctor finds out his cousin Mason (Nathanyeal Grey) followed him that night to Spoon Island. As he and Ava compare notes, she has an idea — and Austin doesn’t like it.

“Sonny Corinthos? He’s not going to help us; it could get us both killed,” he warns. But Ava thinks she knows better, and she just might. She meets with her daughter’s father, and his reaction to her situation is exactly what she was hoping for.

General Hospital History

GH made its debut in 1963 and was created by the husband and wife team of Frank and Doris Hursley, taking place at a hospital but in an unnamed city. In fact, the setting wasn’t named as Port Charles until the 1970s. General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
