The IPO party is in full swing and everyone is all smiles, especially Sasha Gilmore-Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). She shares an inspirational moment with Nina Reeves. This is just the beginning, the latter says. Is it, though? Something tells us Sasha’s good cheer isn’t exactly natural.
Also at the gala are Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Their day gets even brighter when Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) shows up. What a sight for sore eyes!
Meanwhile, the Corinthos family has yet another falling out. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has it out with Michael Corinthos Quartermaine (Chad Duell). Will Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) try to step in or will she stay far away from this feud?
Also having a rough time is Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). She comes home to chaos and tries to reason with her husband. But, Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) mind is made up and he isn’t budging on his disastrous decision making.
Across town, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) steps up for Liz Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and her sons. He’s had enough of watching them suffer those strange occurrences. It’s time to call in reinforcements.

General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
Bringing the Drama
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
