The Hook is back and claims another victim. The devious and dangerous monster is roaming Spoon Island and they won’t stop until they take out all their enemies. Unless, of course, someone can stop them first.
All hell breaks loose when Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) takes over Wyndemere. He has Ava (Maura West) and Felicia (Kristina Wager) hostage and he has murderous intent. He asks his terrified captives, “Who’s ready to say goodbye?”
The horror of it all has everyone in town shaken. Laura (Genie Francis) spread the word about what’s going down. She tells Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) all about the hostage situation and the women worry together.
At the same time, Mac (John J. York) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) try to come up with a game plan. “We need to take immediate action,” Mac warns the town’s top cop. Will she heed his warning before it’s too late? See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.
GH made its debut in 1963 and was created by the husband and wife team of Frank and Doris Hursley, taking place at a hospital but in an unnamed city. In fact, the setting wasn’t named as Port Charles until the 1970s. General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) super spy exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. Epic romances, action-adventure stories, and love on the run have enthralled viewers over the years.
