GH Spoilers Video Preview
The voiceover of doom kicks things off for this week’s promo by saying, “A man who doesn’t know who he is…” as Nina (Cynthia Watros) looks over her shoulder to see Neddie (Wally Kurth) smiling ominously at her.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, a worried sick Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) finds her husband’s hospital bed but not her husband in it. “Where’s Ned?” she asks — an appropriate question in more ways than one. A broken-hearted Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) looks to Chase (Josh Swickard) for answers — but he doesn’t have any. Neither does Tracy (Jane Elliot).
This week, the action kicks up a notch for Ava (Maura West). Austin (Roger Howarth) tries to warn her: “Mason is a very impatient man. No one is off limits.” Ava looks shocked, unsure of what he’s trying to tell her. But then the words “no one is safe” are flashed onscreen and said by the voiceover. The next thing we see is Ava in the park as the nanny runs over to say, “Avery is gone. She’s disappeared.” Ava looks on in horror. See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.
General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and was created by the husband and wife team of Frank and Doris Hursley, taking place at a hospital but in an unnamed city. In fact, the setting wasn’t named as Port Charles until the 1970s. General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) super-spy exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
GH: Bringing the Drama
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. Epic romances, action-adventure stories, and love on the run have enthralled viewers over the years.
