It’s a time to celebrate as the show comes up to its 15,000th episode. The good times kick off when everyone gathered to watch the big game and get the summer fun rolling. Get ready for some big cheers and a few beers.
Also smiling big is Laura Collins (Genie Francis). She hopes to see great things on her horizon. She spends a few moments with her doting husband and something Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) says touches her heart in a deep way.
When it comes to heartwarming moments, the Ashford men have one of their own. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) assure Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) all will be well. We’re in this together.
Meanwhile, is that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) getting down on one knee? What will Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) say if he does produce a ring? Their romance is fun and fanciful but is it marriage material?
Speaking of romance, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) seem to be sharing more sparks. Is this the week they finally decide to make this official?

Of course, not everyone is having a good time. Over at the hospital, Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is trying to stay on the straight and narrow but it’s hard. Very, very hard. And, to make things worse, her friends Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) look like they receive some bad news.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) isn’t very happy, either, especially when Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) backs him into a corner. Uh-oh, what does she know? See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.

General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and was created by the husband and wife team of Frank and Doris Hursley, taking place at a hospital but in an unnamed city. In fact, the setting wasn’t named as Port Charles until the 1970s. General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine, to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) super spy exploits, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
