General Hospital spoilers for December 8, 2023, brings joy and happiness as well as a potentially volatile conversation. Also, Tracy’s back? You don’t want to miss this episode.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
Last we saw Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), she went back to Amsterdam to help Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) sort out Luke’s (Anthony Geary) affairs. However, this trip was always designed to be temporary. (Read about her temporary exit here). After all, Tracy still has work to do. She needs to reunite with her son, formerly known as Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth), now that he has his memories back; she needs to pressure Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) into taking on Deception and learn about her impending nuptials; and she probably needs to cause more hell for Lucy (Lynn Herring).
Well, Tracy finally resurfaces and she’s in a reflecting kind of mood. Look for her to remember her past. Are her thoughts focusing on Luke, her family, — or someone or something else? Also, when she gets back to town, what does she have in store for the good and not-so-good folks of Port Charles?
Updates and Announcements
Without Tracy in town, Brook Lynn was able to save Thanksgiving with her music-producing contacts and she got engaged to Chase (Josh Swickard)! So far, they’ve kept this proposal news to themselves but now they’re starting to spread the word with the world.

Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) recently confided in Felicia (Kristina Wagner) the fact that she and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) are completely over. She’s come to the realization that he’s untrustworthy and, in turn, he can’t trust anyone else. That should make this upcoming conversation with her ex interesting. Despite having had all her illusions about him shattered, she updates him on what’s going on, presumably with Forsyth and the locker key, etc.
On the Same Page
Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ (Tajh Bellow) are finally on the same page. First, they’ve confided in other people and worked out their thoughts, opinions, and emotions surrounding the miscarriage and whether they should continue surrogacy immediately or wait a bit. Second, they’ve communicated those thoughts and feelings with each other. TJ’s even on board with asking Kristina (Kate Mansi) to be the one to help give them a baby. And so now that they’re apparently making an offer, it’s more than possible this is regarding talking to Kristina about making their dream a reality.
And finally, it looks like besties Lois (Rena Sofer) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) are on the same page as well. Whatever issue they’re dealing with, they need Cody’s (Josh Kelly) help to solve. Does it have to do with Leo (Easton Rocket Sweda)? Cody seems to be great with kids.
