GH spoilers would like us to remember that it’s not just Gladys who was responsible for Sasha being drugged and locked up in a mental institution and nearly killed. Gladys only felt compelled to steal from her fragile daughter-in-law because she had a gambling problem. And who is to blame for Glady’s gambling problem? Why, not Gladys, of course. That would be silly. But there is someone else he may blame.

If there is one thing we’ve learned about living in Port Charles is that it’s not the person who commits the crime who is the most guilty, but the one who leaves them no choice but to do it. In this case, Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) only did those horrible things because Selina runs a gambling club and she absolutely forced Gladys to lose all her money there. So, what choice did Gladys have but to exploit Sasha? Now, Sonny is here to see that justice is done!
GH Spoilers: For the Defense
Sonny (Maurice Benard) should stomp over to Selina’s (Lydia Look) immediately, and give her a piece of his mind! How dare she lead an innocent soul like Gladys into a life of crime? Why, why, why that would be like, like, that would be like taking advantage of a traumatized, sexually abused teenager, getting her hooked on drugs, and forcing her to strip at your club! Who would do such a heinous thing?
Of course, the monster that Selina is, we just know she’s going to refuse to take the blame. She’ll invoke silly things like free will, and taking responsibility for your actions, and that there are other ways to earn money, like getting a job. That is just so like her!
GH: Hero Hour
Good thing Sonny won’t let her get away with it. He’ll hold Lydia’s feet to the fire until she admits this is all her fault. And agree to return all the money Gladys gambled away to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). It’s the decent thing to do.
