GH spoilers make us wonder how long Sasha will continue as a victim. She has been fate’s punching bag for way too long. Sure, she first came to Port Charles as part of the scam Valentin was pulling on Nina — because he loved her so, so much. She claimed to be her long-lost daughter.
Since then, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) has certainly treated Nina better than her actual long-lost daughter. She’s worked hard to make up for her less-than-honorable past. Her reward has been losing her baby, losing her husband, getting hooked on drugs, recovering — then being drugged again by her mother-in-law and doctor. So how long until Sasha is mad at hell and she won’t take it anymore?
Sasha is no shrinking violet — when she’s in her right mind. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) thinks she can just keep doing whatever she wants, stealing Sasha’s money and using it to pay off her gambling debts while Sasha languishes in a mental institution.
But now Cody (Josh Kelly) has decided to ride to Sasha’s rescue. We don’t think his overall plan is a very good one. But if he can give Sasha the heads-up about what Gladys is doing to her, then we think Sasha can take care of the rest.
All Cody needs to do is to let Sasha know she should stop letting anyone give her medicine (easier to say than do, we acknowledge). Once her mind clears, then watch out, world! This would be an excellent time to turn to Nina (Cynthia Watros). Nina can’t help — or even get near — her real daughter, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). So she’ll be eager to do her fake daughter a solid. And once Sasha and Nina form a united front, Gladys doesn’t have a chance. Especially with Sonny (Maurice Benard).
