GH Spoilers Speculation: Mac Has A Son, But It’s Not Cody Bell

Fans don’t agree on much, but they do agree on the following two things: Mac Scorpio deserves to have a biological child of his own…and Cody Bell is a really poor excuse for one. But GH spoilers usually tease that December tis the season of holiday miracles, and we’ve got a solution that will give everyone what they want. Well, except for Cody. But that’s also a bonus.

What if Mac (John J. York) and Dominique Taub really did have a child together? Sure, that doesn’t track with what we saw on our screens, but who needs logic at a time like this? The twist is, though: Cody (Josh Kelly) isn’t that child. Cody is a con man. And what do con men do? They con…other men.

What if Cody did find out that Dominique had a child with Mac, and that child was a potential heir to the Taub fortune, not to mention those diamonds Faison (Anders Hove) gave Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud)? And what if Cody decided to impersonate that child in Port Charles? Because the real offspring is an upstanding fellow who would never pursue money over family…you know, like his biological dad.

But what about those DNA results which claimed that Cody was Mac’s child? You know, the ones that Cody lied and claimed didn’t say that, and Mac and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) just took his word for it. Because Cody is such an upstanding fellow.

Cody knows the real guy. He knows he’s a blood donor. Because he’s an upstanding fellow. You know…like his biological dad. Cody gets his hands on the donation, sneaks it in as his sample, and…ta-da!

GH Spoilers: The ‘Why’ To It

But why would he do that if he lied about the results? Because Cody needs the insurance. If things really go south, he can fall on the mercy of his “dad.” It’s a plan worthy of…a con artist like Cody. Now, all we need to happen is for someone to expose his plot and find Mac’s real long-lost child. It will be a holiday miracle! Think this speculation could really happen?
