GH Spoilers Speculation: Cody Makes Things Worse for Sasha

GH spoilers make it look like Cody is determined to ride to Sasha’s rescue. His brilliant plan involves giving Sam his Power of Attorney so she can commit him to Ferncliff, a hospital for the criminally insane.

Does Cody (Josh Bell) think his general yelling and arm waving qualifies him as criminally insane? Sure, why not? Because that’s not even the lamest part of his plan.

General Hospital: Separate Tables

To start with, most hospitals keep male and female patients separate. Does Cody think the criminally insane just get to wander the grounds, chatting up various people, like at a cocktail party? First and foremost, how is he even going to find Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and speak to her?

The last time Sasha saw Cody at the hospital, she also began screaming. Which means she is not primed to hear whatever he might have to say. Even if he is able to leave the men’s ward and sneak into Sasha’s room — past, we presume, two layers of security — what makes him think she’ll listen to him?

And even if Cody is able to leave the men’s ward and sneak into Sasha’s room — past, we presume, two layers of security — and even if she does listen to him, what then? Let’s say Sasha is still composed enough to believe Cody when he tells her that Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) is paying her doctor to drug Sasha into psychosis. What then?

Let’s say Sasha starts accusing her doctor and her guardian of locking her up to steal her money. Does that sound like something that will make her other doctors go, “Hmm, those are definitely the thoughts of a sane person? Let’s let her out!” Or will it just make Sasha’s struggle to recover even more difficult?
