GH spoilers are priming us for a showdown between Lois and Olivia over The Artist Formerly Known as Ned (now Known as Eddie, or Neddie as we like to call him). Sure, Ned and Lois have been divorced for decades, and Ned and Olivia have been married for years. But Eddie doesn’t recognize Olivia. And Lois first fell in love with Eddie – and he with her. So who needs a triangle, when we can get more bang for our buck with a quad?

GH Spoilers Speculation: The Man I Used To Be

Neddie (Wally Kurth) is enjoying his second act as a rock star, rather than a boring, old business guy. And, the thing is, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) is kind of digging it, too. She started off screeching about how she wanted her husband back. But her husband didn’t wear leather pants and sing moony love songs.

GH: The Way We Were

However, Eddie was how Lois (Rena Sofer) first met her future husband. She fell for the guy she knew as Eddie Maine. She even married Eddie Maine. (Ned covered the wedding license with his hand when she signed; a criminal mastermind, this dude is!) She wasn’t too happy when the truth came out, and Lois eventually ended up divorcing Ned. Mainly because he was Ned. As in Ned Quartermaine. And she just didn’t fit in with his family.

GH Spoilers: Split the Difference

So what if both Lois and Olivia fall in love with Neddie? He’d like that. But then what if he gets his memory back? And Ned keeps it to himself. Because he likes (see above). Because Ned still loves Olivia. But Eddie still loves Lois. So that’s four people. In three bodies. And Neddie wants to have his cake and eat it too…only in romantic terms. Maybe each woman will get the man she wants. And each man will get his woman. Now that’s a modern family!
