No one who follows GH spoilers ever believes that anyone is ever truly dead unless they’re really most sincerely dead. And Peter August (Wes Ramsey)…doesn’t seem to fit the General Hospital bill.
At least according to what over 5,000 fans are speculating. It was a pretty close vote, but 36% of the audience note that the door to his freezer crypt didn’t appear locked. And we know what that means. Anyone can come in…and anyone can come out. We’re not saying Peter is Jesus. In fact, he’s more of an anti-Christ.
But remember how Jesus was assumed to be tucked in nice and dead in his cave. But then he disappeared. And we all know what happened afterward. So there are centuries of precedent for the presumed dead to open their eyes and cheerfully amble off. Especially on soaps. Especially in Port Charles.
A slightly smaller 33% of you, on the other hand, point out that Peter was put in the deep freeze. And even if he was alive before, there’s no way he’d still be now. Sure, he’s Casesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) son. But Faison seems to finally be down for the count. Peter should be, as well. He’s done too much damage, and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) deserve the well-earned reprieve.
Then again, 31% of the voters are sticking by the Faison connection. Sure Papa Bad Guy may finally be dead – but think about how many lives he went through before that happened. Peter is younger, so he must have more to go. This is only his first death. That’s nothing. You don’t even need Miracle Max and his belief in true love to bring Peter back to life. He’ll do it out of pure spite. Do Anna and Maxie really think they’re free to move on?
