Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is faced with an impossible choice — leave with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) so she can save her daughter Louise — or stay behind, safe, with her other children and never see Louise again. She must spin quite the story because Peter, who should know she wants to kill him, says her offer sounds good on paper, but what’s the catch?
As one child is about to go missing, another finds her way to safety. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is relieved when she sees granddaughter Charlotte run into Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) arms. Laura tells Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) that she doesn’t know if Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is on the up and up, but she’s going to find out.
General Hospital Spoilers: Smelling A Rat
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is pretty sure she knows the answer to that question. She wants answers and tells Victor it’s almost as if he knew where to find Charlotte — imagine that. Valentin begrudgingly says he guesses that makes him grateful to his father, knowing full well (or at least suspecting) that his father is the reason they were all in danger in the first place.

There’s little chance Victor will feel guilty, but Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) sure does. She wants to know how much her family hates her for the constant stream of lies she’s had to feed them for months, along with allowing them to fall in love with a baby who wasn’t hers. Her dad forgave her — will everyone else do the same?
General Hospital: The Truth Is Out There
Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) learn the truth. But it leaves Liz with more questions than answers. Finn’s words to his brother cause Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to lose it, as he yells this is his job. He had a duty to do all he could to save that baby, and he failed — and now she’s in the hands of a psycho. Will he or anyone else figure out where Maxie has gone and what she is up to?
