General Hospital — The Week Ahead

The coveted General Hospital Chief of Staff position was up for grabs after Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) decreed she was considering making a switch. Now Monica is ready to announce who will be stepping into the role. Is Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) spot as Chief of Staff secure, or will Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) be appointed to the position, kicking Britt to the curb? You won’t want to miss the emotional reveal.

Call it cold feet or call it unresolved feelings. Whatever it is, General Hospital spoilers tease Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is feeling it. With the wedding to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) growing closer, Carly expresses her grief about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Is Carly having second thoughts about being wed to Jason or just taking the time to mourn her loss of Sonny once more?

Another couple struggling with their feelings is Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen). Even with Willow being wed to another man, the feelings between them continue to grow stronger and they both want what they can’t have… each other. Anyone with eyes should be able to notice the stolen glances and desperate looks on their faces as they struggle with keeping their relationship under wraps.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) started physiotherapy and had quite a hard go at recovering. He was not giving up, though. After a few tantrums and agonizing moments, he finally stood without falling down. Unfortunately, no one was there to see it.

Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) worked overtime to convince Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) to fight for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Her plan finally worked but Jordan was too late. By the time she got to the club, Curtis was sharing a lip lock with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Poor Jordan ran off into the hall to have herself a good cry.

It was a good week for Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore). He was finally a free man. His sentence was commuted to time served and he went home. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was happy for her friend but upset she didn’t get to leave too. It was back to her cell and back to prison life.
