General Hospital spoilers update for July 19 – 23, 2021, reveals a secret meetup, deception, and a long road to recovery.
General Hospital — The Week Ahead
While Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are off on a wild good chase in their quest to find Maxie’s baby, the real culprits in the “baby-napping” plot are at home arranging a meetup. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) simply cannot stay away from Louise, and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) does what any good friend would do in the situation…she arranges a meetup so Maxie can spend some quality time with her baby. In the back of her mind, Brook Lynn can’t stop that nagging feeling that the secrets they are keeping from Valentin are going to crush him when he finds out the baby was never his. She feels responsible (rightfully so) for the pain it will eventually cause him.
When Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) learns of “Victor’s” real identity, she feels deceived. Rather than take her anger out on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) she vows to get revenge by uniting the two people he tried so hard to break apart. Trina conspires to get Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) back together.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is quickly finding out that the recovery stage is taking longer and is much harder than he thought it ever could be. He is pushing himself in physical therapy and vows to walk again someday. He releases all of the frustration and anger inside of him towards Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) when she visits him. It will be their first fight as a married couple.

Maxie made the bombshell decision to bring Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) into the fold. She spilled everything about Louise during a meltdown over needing to get away. Nina could hardly believe her ears as the tale unfolded. She vowed to keep Maxie Jones’s confidence, but not until after she laid into Brook Lynn Quartermaine.
The ELQ meeting came to a screeching halt when Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) showed up with Austin (Roger Howarth) in tow. Austin revealed himself as a Quartermaine heir. He is Austin Gatlin-Holt, son of Charity and Jimmy Lee. He was there to get what was rightfully his, but nothing more (sure).
Lenny Caulfield’s (Rif Hutton) heart condition had the Nixon Falls crew heading to New York to see a specialist. Also, it was the same hospital where Anna and Valentin were. Anna almost saw Sonny (Maurice Benard) but he managed to evade her prying eyes. A random hat sent him down Memory Lane.
