[dropcapU[/dropcap]pcoming “General Hospital spoilers” (GH) for May 23-27 promise some serious dramatics, but also some good ol’ fashioned fun!
A few of our best-loved, gone but not forgotten GH faves will make appearances at the long-awaited 2016 Nurse’s Ball. Let’s hope Milo Giambetti (Drew Cheetwood) will lead a crew of resident hotties in another titillating dance. Especially because it would all be in the interest of raising money for AIDS research.
The Nurse’s Ball has seen public proposals, public revelations of secrets, and now perhaps something extra cringeworthy. Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is still recovering from her house burning down, her son’s stay at Shriner’s hospital, being dumped by Jason (Billy Miller) for failing to tell him who he really is, and then becoming the town pariah for this taciturn behavior. Next week she might become the Nurse’s Ball’s requisite scapegoat, as teasers reveal she’ll suffer a very un-private shaming moment.
Michael (Chad Duell) has for now put his search for Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) on hold, as he licks the wounds caused by finding out she married Carlos and then discovered Baby Santiago-Rivera at the Quartermaine mansion. Next week, Michael will be the recipient of more distressing info.
Ava (Maura West) and Carly (Laura Wright) rarely see eye-to-eye. Ava had a long-running relationship with Morgan (Bryan Craig), whom Carly protects with the fierceness of a lioness. Then we have Ava’s daughter, Avery, currently residing in Carly’s home. So these two have plenty of fodder for the heated confrontation that occurs next week.
The second-to-youngest Corinthos, Morgan, will have his own devastation to process. The body of someone significant to him is found, traumatizing this still fragile young man.
The week of May 16th-20 saw surprising progressions in the many dramas involving Anna (Finola Hughes). Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) died, Griffin (Matt Cohen) revealed himself to be a priest in addition to a doctor, and justice for Duke (Ian Buchanan) looked more and more unlikely. Next week look for Anna to bid adieu to someone or something in her life that may be related to these situations.
