General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, January 9, 2020, reveal a day of big dreams and tentative deals. You won’t want to miss a moment of this emotional episode.
Jason (Steve Burton) wants to make a deal with Robert (Tristan Rogers) for Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) sake. Robert is intrigued by the Romeo and Juliet of Port Charles having a proposal for him. So what do these two have to offer that would make Robert want to help them by pulling strings with the probation department?
Sonny (Maurice Benard) talks with Carly (Laura Wright) about what his cousin gave him that could help Mike (Max Gail). He thinks it could be the first step to a cure for what ails his father but is he just being set up for a fall?
Later, Sonny confronts Julian (William deVry) about what his guard overheard between him and Brad. But that’s not all on the former mobster’s plate. His sister, who was down and out the last time he saw her, is now on top of the world. Ava (Maura West) lets him know that 2020 is a new beginning for her as she’s on the verge of the sweetest revenge.
Michael (Chad Duell) is concerned and takes Wiley to General Hospital where they run into the young boy’s “father” Brad (Parry Shen). Wanting to know if his son is okay, Brad is shocked to hear that Michael doesn’t think so. Is Wiley just missing his two dads or is there really trouble on the horizon?

Speaking of parental troubles, Finn (Michael Easton) meets with Jax (Ingo Rademacher) to discuss his daughter’s mother — Hayden (Rebecca Budig). Jax is still feeling guilty about how it all went down with her and promises to do all he can to bring Hayden back to Port Charles now that the coast is clear.
Meanwhile, Finn’s other half has her hands full too. Anna (Finola Hughes) meets up with Peter (Wes Ramsey) and lets him know she has some questions. But will the man she wants to believe is her son tell her the truth? He doesn’t seem to have the best relationship with it.
Elsewhere in town, Nina (Cynthia Watros) praises Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Considering all that went down that Nina was mum about, is Maxie going to have the same warm feelings back — or will she give Nina a piece of her mind? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
