General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, May 19, 2020 reveal a day of maneuvers and confrontations. You won’t want to miss a moment of this dramatic episode.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) headed straight for the courthouse after getting a text about Nelle’s latest move. He’s obviously suspicious of Julian’s (William deVry) motives for marrying a woman that Sonny hates even more than he hates Julian. The latter will have to think fast as he tries to diffuse the growing tension, especially when Jason (Steve Burton) joins them.
The two have a meeting of the minds — which Jason observes off to the side — but of course, his presence is a constant reminder for Julian that Sonny can give the order at any time to do away with him and Jason will do it. So what does he want? Not to worry, Julian — Sonny eventually tells him that he needs to do what needs to be done. Uh oh.
Nelle (Chloe Lanier), completely unaware of what is going down with her brand-new husband, is trying to shore up things on another front. She lends support to Nina (Cynthia Watros) over at Crimson — perhaps she will endear herself. But Nina isn’t easily snowed and wants to know how her new assistant got Julian to agree to marry her. What exactly will Nelle tell her — and will Nina buy it?
Looking to do damage control about Nelle and Julian, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) takes a meeting with Carly (Laura Wright). When Martin (Michael E. Knight) arrives, Carly tells him that if he uses Sonny against Michael (Chad Duell), it will be his funeral — right in front of Diane. It looks like Willow wasn’t the one she should have worried about.
Jason certainly gets around because spoilers reveal that Liz (Rebecca Herbst) is candid with him. But she also meets up with Nikolas (Marcus Coloma), who wants to talk with her about her feelings. Nik knows what Franco said still gets to her and he continues to rub salt in that particular wound. Will his manipulations drive a wedge between her and Franco?
Speaking of Franco (Roger Howarth), he is unsettled. He meets up with his father only to have Scott (Kin Shriner) tell him that he wouldn’t trust “Prince Cassadine” as far as Elizabeth is concerned. It looks like Scott is absolutely right but what will Franco be able to do about that? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
