General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 8, 2020, reveal comfort, confrontation, and so much more. You won’t want to miss an explosive moment of this new episode.
After her volatile meeting with Cyrus, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) asks Jason (Steve Burton) to come to the PCPD. He arrives with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) in tow, naturally. Jordan relays to the two that Cyrus’s mom has gone missing — would Jason happen to know anything about that? Is she really investigating or looking to get in on what he and Carly have going?
Portia (Brook Kerr) finally gets what she came to the PCPD for — a face-to-face meeting with her ex, who currently resides there. Rather than kicking the man while he’s down, the General Hospital doc encourages Taggert to fight. She tells him he earned the right to get his life back. Besides that, their daughter certainly needs him back in her life.
Meanwhile, everyone’s nemesis Cyrus (Jeff Kober) hones in on the root of his problems — his sister the mayor. He lets Laura (Genie Francis) have it but she gives it right back and tells him that he has no one to blame but himself for what’s happened to his mother. If he didn’t live the life he does, she never would have been vulnerable.
Speaking of paying for the life you’ve lived, Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) family may be doing the same. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is there when Michael (Chad Duell) tells her and Carly (Laura Wright) know that he’s heard from the New Jersey police. It must not be good news because Sasha comforts Michael. Are they giving up the search for the mobster’s body?
Sasha is able to comfort Michael because his wife is not there. Instead, she’s hanging out with her ex. Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) share a meal together and Chase lets her know where he stands. He tells her what he wants for them — more than anything. Will his declaration be enough to make her give their love another chance?
Peter (Wes Ramsey) feels the walls closing in again thanks to Franco recovering Drew’s memories again and he’s off like a shot to fix his life. But Sam (Kelly Monaco) stops him, wondering where he’s headed in such a hurry, causing Peter to snap at Sam. Not smart cause now her Spidey sense is tingling about him. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
