General Hospital spoilers show Michael in a race to marry the perfect person in order to retain custody of Wiley on General Hospital. However, we think Nelle is about to beat him to the punch and enter her second marriage of convenience in under a year.
Nelle Is The Marrying Type
Apparently, it’s not 2020 in Port Charles and being married is what makes a person a better parent. It doesn’t really matter that one of these parents was in jail for murder and attempted murder and also broke her parole by trying to kidnap Wiley and assaulting Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). We’re still told she has a 50-50 chance of winning custody for some odd soap opera reason.
So, if she gets wind that Michael (Chad Duell) is trying to up his chances by marrying, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) will likely attempt to do the same. She is already in an unholy alliance with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) over his secret takeover attempt of ELQ, so why not enter holy matrimony?

Why Do This?
First, Nelle would secure herself another way to riches and second, let’s not forget that Valentin is also in the middle of a custody battle with Lulu over who gets Charlotte. Lulu (Emme Rylan) is not married at the moment, so Valentin could make his own self look like the better parent if he marries Nelle.
There could also be other reasons for such a union. Nelle might blackmail him into a ceremony by threatening to blow is ELQ machinations sky high. Or Valentin might decide to marry Nelle in a move to make Nina jealous. After all, he has already proven he would do anything to win her love — no matter how twisted.
Lulu In The Mix?
And if Valentin and Nelle marry, would that then prompt Lulu to jump the gun and wed Dustin?
