General Hospital spoilers for Monday, August 17, 2020 reveal a surprise run-in, an uncomfortable conversation, and a pointed accusation. You won’t want to miss a shocking moment of this new episode.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
After the painting is revealed, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) accuses Ava (Maura West) of self-sabotage. She was furious at the woman for dredging up Franco’s (Roger Howarth) dark past to build up interest in her useless painting and now with this, she’s furious — assuming it’s more of Ava’s gameplaying and grandstanding.
Ava is still shaken by the portrait and tells Franco ominously that she plans to remedy the situation — permanently. She obviously believes her never-loving hubby has something to do with it. Elizabeth steals a moment alone with him and warns Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) that if he’s not careful, his bridezilla is going to destroy whatever good is left in him. Perhaps it may be the other way around.
Maxie Makes Up Her Mind…or Does She?
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) changes her mind and decides to finally let the father of her unborn baby in on the fact that they are expecting. But will she change her mind again and chicken out? And if she does tell Peter (Wes Ramsey), will he be spooked at the thought of adding more Faison genetic material to Port Charles?
Anna (Finola Hughes) and Finn (Michael Easton) are at odds when Chase (Josh Swickard) joins their table. He is miserable too but insists that everything worked out the way it was supposed to, now that Willow and Michael have won custody of Wiley. But did he really deserve to end up with nothing?
Carly Celebrates
Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) meet up with Carly (Laura Wright) at the Metro Court. Carly toasts to everyone who made ‘it’ possible — more than likely the great outcome with Wiley’s custody hearing that Nina was instrumental in. It may be cut short when Jax gets an important phone call.
At another table, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) lets someone know — perhaps Nina? maybe Lulu? — that there was nothing that person could have done to stop his evil plan. OK, maybe he doesn’t say that exactly, but he’s Cassadine-adjacent and that just goes with the territory. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
