General Hospital spoilers for Thursday, August 20, 2020, reveal eavesdropping, gossip, and a no-good, dirty, rotten plan. You won’t want to miss an explosive moment of this new episode.
The Nurses Ball continues as Nelle (Chloe Lanier) tells her captive husband Julian (William deVry) that tonight will be her best performance yet. The funny thing is, she doesn’t usually perform during the festivities… and it’s doubtful that she will this time. So what is this little vixen planning? It’s a safe bet that Monica (Leslie Charleson) will regret giving the nanny the night off!
Or was it Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) who did that, despite knowing they were taking the night off to attend the Ball? Either way, it wasn’t smart. Poor Chase (Josh Swickard) has a hard time seeing Willow with Michael, and he’s not the only one. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is also struggling with her emotions. Hopefully, she won’t end up snorting anything!
Liz (Rebecca Herbst) overhears an interesting conversation, because people are really stupid in Port Charles, always loudly airing their personal business. So, who does she catch? Ava (Maura West) tells Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) – who must be performing – to break a leg. Then again, considering how these two are, she might just mean it literally.
Someone tries to reach Sonny (Maurice Benard), and Carly (Laura Wright) wants to know if it’s Turning Woods contacting him about Mike (Max Gail). As Sonny worries about his father’s impending death, Anna (Finola Hughes) catches up Finn (Michael Easton) on the Maxie/Peter situation and the new life that they’re bringing into the world.
Lulu (Emme Rylan) tells Dustin (Mark Lawson) that “she” deserves whatever she gets… which is probably a description of her feelings about Brook Lynn (Briana Lane), considering the stunt that she walked in on. Having seen Brook kissing Dustin, who can blame Lulu for being mad? But down-and-out Brook Lynn puts herself in harm’s way. Will she find Nelle doing her dirty deed?
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) tells someone that if they’re wise, they’ll join him. He also attempts to win Nina (Cynthia Watros) over, but she is still head over heels for Jax (Ingo Rademacher). When Valentin looks for advice – or rather, she’s simply offering it – she tells him she thinks he should stay out of it. Since when, Nina? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
