Your General Hospital spoilers weekly update is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and find out how you can get involved in the soap opera community!

GH Weekly Recap

A number of details came to the surface on General Hospital, showing just how tightly the tapestry is woven. Dante found himself staring down the barrel of his father’s gun, setting the stage for some, particularly potent family drama.

While it wasn’t quite as extreme, Kristina had to face off against the man, as well, during an intense therapy session with him.

Dark emotions were also visibly clouding Morgan’s mind, as he got ready to jump off the hospital roof… only to have Sonny make a desperate attempt to talk him down. We’re following a compelling thread, and next week will spin quite the yarn. Here are the spoilers!

GH Weekly Teasers

The Corinthos clan once again takes center stage as Sonny strives to defend and protect his children… although the shooting of Michael casts a shadow on that goal.

Trouble arises for Dante, as well, and at the worst possible time— when his mother is barely clinging to life. Kristina will also have her own brush with death, after which her father will bare his soul in an effort to help assuage her guilt.

General Hospital’s History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DAYS), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
