General Hospital Spoilers Weekly Update: Family Drama Unfolds

Your General Hospital spoilers weekly update is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and find out how you can get involved in the soap opera community!

GH Weekly Recap

We followed quite a yarn on General Hospital, and even saw the tie-off of a few loose ends! The Corinthos clan went through a number of unpleasant trials, kicking off when Michael took a bullet that was meant for Sonny.

Some of those same trials were of the literal sort, too, and they ultimately saw the young man being sentenced for murder.

Mind you, Sonny’s other children didn’t get off any easier… especially not Kristina, who barely survived a bus accident, then had to wrestle with the prospect of coming out to her father. There are more threads coming, and they’re leading to a complex tapestry! Here are the spoilers!

GH Weekly Teasers

Baby Wiley is back in the spotlight as we return to the infant’s custody case… and to the clandestine preparations being made by Nelle. It’s a difficult time for Sonny, as well, as he struggles with what look to be the final days for his father.

Both situations have an intense and personal effect on Michael, although the majority of his attention will be paid to the wedding plans he has made with Willow.

A Look Ahead

This past week was pretty interesting, and the coming ones may bring some unexpected developments. With things being what they are, it’s easy to miss important moments… but that’s why Soap Hub is here to help. If you have any questions, thoughts, or even theories, don’t hesitate to share them with the community!

What did you like most about this week? What are you most excited to see next week? General Hospital’s History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DAYS), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
