Your General Hospital spoilers weekly update for April 20-24, 2020, is here! Catch up on what you missed, get a sneak peek at what’s ahead, and find out how you can get involved in the soap opera community!

GH Weekly Recap

The current started picking up on General Hospital this week, and just about everyone got swept along by the stream!

Violet’s birthday party brought every kid in Port Charles together, and even though Charlotte tried to sabotage things, her plan didn’t go quite how she intended. It did give Robert the chance to sneak away, though, at which point he worked on finding more evidence against Peter.

Elsewhere, Michael and Sasha did all that they could to convince Willow that she needs to marry Michael in order to save Wiley… and even Chase started supporting the idea. We’re certainly picking up speed, and next week, we’ll be on the rapids. Here are the spoilers!

GH Weekly Teasers

Situations continue to spiral away from Sonny, causing him to lose sight of the upper hand that he had been hoping to gain. Willow feels her own world slipping away, too, especially after a devastating development threatens to undermine everyone’s efforts.

There’s also strife on its way to Jordan, who feels increasingly conflicted about many situations… and contemplates the prospect of resigning.

A Look Ahead

We’ve seen a lot of action this week, and next week will be pretty unpredictable. With so much going on, it’s easy to miss occasional details… but that’s why Soap Hub is here to help. General Hospital’s History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DAYS), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
