GH Weekly Recap

A frosty atmosphere gave way to some cold-blooded moments on General Hospital this week, and certain situations got downright icy! After being threatened by Sonny, Brad agreed to offer a guilty plea… but then Britt showed up with an offer to lend some support.

Some emotional moments followed Sasha, too, after she first rejected Michael’s proposal, then reconsidered things after a heart-to-heart talk with Willow.

Jordan had some internal strife of her own to contend with, first when she got confirmation that Cyrus was indeed holding JT hostage, and then when she avoided telling anyone. Things might be chilly now, but next week, they’ll heat up! Here are the spoilers!

GH Weekly Teasers

Jordan continues to struggle in silence, even angrily dismissing the help offered by other people. While she isolates herself, Spinelli becomes further entrenched in some unpleasant situations, and the advice that he receives doesn’t exactly help matters.

Tensions rise for Sonny, too, as he sees circumstances moving beyond his control, and he takes some potentially drastic steps to stay ahead of everything.

General Hospital’s History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DAYS), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
