GH Weekly Recap

We found ourselves on the rapids on General Hospital this week, and a few people came close to being tossed overboard!

Valentin was left feeling horrified when he learned that Charlotte had watched him push Ava off the parapet, and that she had been trying to emulate him ever since. Willow experienced some horror of her own, walking in on a ruse that made her think Chase and Sasha were having an affair.

Things were difficult for Sonny, too, who found it difficult to accept that his father was nearing the end, even in spite of all the advice he received. We’re coming to a waterfall, but next week will take us somewhere unexpected. Here are the spoilers!

GH Weekly Teasers

Tensions rise as Sonny and Jason have their meeting with Cyrus, and the future is clouded by a decidedly ominous atmosphere. Emotions run high for Lulu, too, prompting her to seek some solace – and some advice – from Laura.

While others are feeling lost, Willow becomes more sure of how she wants to move forward… and standing her ground causes something of a clash between her and Chase.

A Look Ahead

This past week was pretty interesting, and the coming ones may bring some unexpected developments. With things being what they are, it’s easy to miss important moments… but that’s why Soap Hub is here to help. General Hospital’s History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DAYS), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
