GH Weekly Recap

The pressure certainly rose on General Hospital this week, with several situations coming to a head!

Quite a few people were shocked to learn that Nelle was hosting Shiloh’s memorial service, and that she had claimed the man’s ELQ shares for herself. Sonny made some waves of his own, deciding to go against everyone wishes, and to bring Mike to to New York City.

Meanwhile, Laura and Lulu both let their anger fly at Nikolas, not just for keeping his survival a secret, but also for marrying Ava. As for Ava herself, she invited herself along to France in order to tell Spencer that his father is alive. Now the pressure is on, and we’re set to see someone snap! Here are the spoilers!

GH Weekly Teasers

Intent on moving past the recent shakeups in her life, Laura sets her sights on a new project, hoping to reclaim control of how the future plays out.

That confidence will be lacking for Sasha, though, after she comes under fire again, and Michael steps up to defend her. Caught between those two mindsets is Finn, who sees only one way forward in his own situation… leading him to deliver a stark ultimatum.

A Look Ahead

It’s safe to say that we’re in for some pretty emotional moments, with a deep focus on what people are thinking. We’ll want to watch for every nuance… and if you agree (or disagree) with certain decisions, don’t keep it yourself. In fact, we want to hear any thoughts you might have at all! General Hospital’s History

GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running daytime drama, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.

Bringing the Drama

More then five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime drama on the air as other soap operas were axed. GH is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air, with the other three being Days of our Lives (DAYS), The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
