The General Hospital recap for Friday, January 17, 2020, features Nelle making a bad situation worse, a blast from the past and trouble on the teenage front.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) arrived at Brad’s (Parry Shen) all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and ready to begin her duties as Wiley’s nanny. However, enthusiasm soon gave way to righteous indignation when she saw Nelle (Chloe Lanier) emerge from the bathroom.

Brad tried to explain that Nelle had shown up the night before needing a place to stay but Willow was in no mood to listen. She did her best to convince Brad that rooming with a budding black widow wasn’t his best option but her pleas fell on deaf ears.

After not-so-subtlety threatening Willow’s life, Nelle threw her out and later warned Brad that he better, “get rid of her…or I will.” And considering the fact she already has one victim on her conscience, we believe Nelle.

Homecoming

Upon arriving at Turning Woods to collect Mike (Max Gail), Sonny (Maurice Benard) was confronted by an old enemy: detective Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews). Afterword’s, Taggert made his way to the PCPD where he was reunited with Jordan (Brianna Nicole Henry), his former partner and the woman who asked him to make the return trip.

Teenage Angst

As if having to put up with a clingy Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) wasn’t enough, Dev (Aston Arbab) still had to contend with the fallout from his rejection of Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and her amorous advance.

For her part, Joss was feeling guilty for having even considered the possibility of moving on from Oscar and she wasn’t interested in Carly’s (Laura Wright) assurance that moving on was the right thing to do.

A Willow Brain Trust

An infuriated Willow met Chase (Josh Swickard) at the Metro Court and began to loudly vent about Nelle’s presence at Brad’s apartment. When Michael (Chad Duell) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) stopped by to check on her, Willow declared that the group needed to band together for the sake of the child.

“Wiley is no longer safe with Brad,” Willow declared. This is going to get ugly — and heartbreaking for Willow. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
