The General Hospital spoilers for July 20-24, 2020 reveal another look back at episodes that were previously broadcast in May of this year. Among the flashback storylines are Michael and Willow taking the matrimonial plunge, Nelle getting the goods on Julian, and Robert facing a grim prospect.
Michael (Chad Duell) really wants sole custody of his son. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) really wants Michael to have sole custody of his son. And since she doesn’t have anything better to do – or a boyfriend to go home to – Willow decides to throw caution to the wind and accept Michael’s proposition that they wed for Wiley’s sake.
It isn’t exactly a three-hankie affair, but at least it gives Monica (Leslie Charleson) an excuse to throw a reception at her home – Alan gave it to her, don’t you know? – and invite her son’s murderer into her home in order to witness the “joyous occasion.”
Michael is certain that his quickie ceremony will give him the edge needed to beat Nelle (Chloe Lanier) in family court, but Nelle gets some leverage of her own… and it all comes courtesy of motormouth Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
If only Brook Lynn had kept her hands to herself and not bloodied Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) nose. If only Brook Lynn hadn’t blackmailed Julian (William deVry) to get her out of the slammer. And if only Brook Lynn hadn’t casually discussed Julian’s role in Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad’s (Parry Shen) car accident in the vicinity of an eavesdropping Nelle!
But Nelle isn’t the only Port Charlesian to hear some disturbing news. The last thing that a mournful Robert (Tristen Rogers) wants to be told is that his beloved Holly (Emma Samms) met a purposeful end. But that’s exactly what Anna (Finola Hughes) and Mac (John J. York) have concluded. Million-dollar spy ships just don’t randomly sink on their own.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) is left to face some tough choices – like DNR orders and the insertion of a feeding tube – in the wake of Mike’s (Max Gail) continued decline. Likewise, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will be forced to face a new normal once she is stripped of her law license! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
