General Hospital spoilers show that when the soap returns, Maxie will likely take a pregnancy test and find that it’s positive. But what if Maxie is not the only one who’s pregnant? After all, she got to share her last pregnancy with Nelle, letting us believe that her baby would be switched. But what if we get two dramatic pregnancies this time with — no switch!
General Hospital Spoilers Spec: Baby Drama
For Maxie (Kirsten Storms), the obvious drama is that she’s pregnant with a monster’s child and doesn’t know it. She has no clue the heinous things Peter (Wes Ramsey) does behind her back, all in the name of holding onto the only woman who has ever loved him. Drew’s (Billy Miller) death is on his hands. Franco (Roger Howarth) and Andre (Anthony Montgomery) nearly dying were both due to Peter and now he might be behind Holly’s disappearance — although he didn’t quite want her dead.
When Maxie learns all if Peter’s crimes, she will be horrified. Could it lead to a miscarriage or lead to her giving birth to a child and having to fight to make sure the baby’s villainous father can never see him or her?
And, of course, we know Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) dilemma. She is married to Michael (Chad Duell) for Wiley’s sake only and is still in love with Chase (Josh Swickard).
We know she has no intention of sleeping with Michael, but she was with Chase until very recently. What if she learns she’s pregnant with Chase’s child, but then tries to pass it off as Michael’s in an effort to keep Wiley with herself and her new husband, assuming they will win the custody case?
This leaves a heartbroken Chase, who thinks Willow would never sleep with Michael, a heartbroken Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) who falls further into drugs, and Finn, who knows exactly why Willow married Michael, to begin with.
When GH returns, it’s going to need some good old-fashioned angst to draw viewers back in again — as the CBS soaps will, as well. Two drama-filled pregnancies would certainly fit the bill. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
