General Hospital spoilers reveal a lot going on inside Franco’s head, but does he still share that head with his late BFF and foster brother, Drew Cain?

General Hospital Spoilers Speculation

That’s what Dr. Kirk seemed to think before Scotty (Kin Shriner) tried to rescue Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and ended up accidentally killing Kirk, but now Liesl is taking over the case to save her good friend and she might end up hitting paydirt along the way.

Liesl has been determined to bring down Peter August since she learned he was Faison’s son with Anna (although, that’s actually Alex) and responsible for her beloved Nathan’s death. Heck, she even tied him to a bed and tortured him for an entire summer until he looked like Grizzly Adams when it was all over.

Now, Franco (Roger Howarth) is hearing Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) voice inside his head but he is not sure why. But what if it’s not Franco hearing the voice, but the remnants of Drew’s (Billy Miller) memories and personality that might have not been wiped clean in Andre’s procedure last year.

Remember, Peter was so determined that nobody learns he was behind the Jason and Drew switch that he even had Drew killed (allegedly) and tried to kill Andre (Anthony Montgomery) and Franco. God forbid Drew or Franco with Drew’s memories recall that moment between Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) and Helena (Constance Towers) arranged for Drew to be kidnapped at the behest of Peter August. But Drew’s memories might be doing that now.

What do you think? Post a comment!

During her treatment, that would be everything Liesl has dreamed of in her quest to bring down Peter. Maybe she won’t even need Dante to do that anymore if she just has Drew’s memories via Franco.

Perhaps Franco might also remember Peter giving the order to have Franco and Andre killed during the memory wiping procedure that brought Franco back to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and her boys (and us) last year. That would be a double whammy that could wake Maxie (Kirsten Storms) up to the man she plans to marry. And maybe a double dose of reality is exactly what Maxie needs.

Frankly, it’s pretty clever of GH to bring back the loose ends of this ridiculous story. We didn’t like it as it played out, but there were so many threads left hanging that the rehash looks like it could work.

Kim (Tamara Braun) having either Julian (William deVry) or Franco’s baby (despite what the nanny said, do we REALLY know who the father is?) is another clever move, but letting Franco remember what actually happened to Jason and Drew all those years ago will make the story from start to finish worth it if it does just that and finishes Peter August. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
