General Hospital Spoilers Spec: Amnesiac Sonny Rescued By Nelle

General Hospital spoilers show Sonny not resurfacing in Port Charles any time soon, but rumor has it that when he does, he might have a few memory problems. But how on Earth did he survive that fall into the river and what might he be doing during his time away?

Well, someone else plunged off a cliff and into a river just a few months prior to Sonny (Maurice Benard) and although Chase (Josh Swickard) was supposed to identify her body, he did get distracted. Yes, Chase was on his way to see Nelle (Chloe Lanier) one last time but caught Michael  (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) in a moment? Did someone else identify the body, but identified it wrong?

Since the audience never saw Nelle’s body (unlike when we saw Julian’s body), we have to assume she is alive somewhere, and wouldn’t it be something if she comes across Sonny and nurses him back to health.

It would be just like Nelle to take advantage of someone’s amnesia, and this particular someone would really stick it to Carly (Laura Wright), the woman she’s made it a life’s mission to stick it to. With Sonny not remembering anything about her, she might take a liking to Nelle. Heck, he may even fall for her, which can make things quite complicated when the two eventually surface in Port Charles, and if they are alive, they most certainly will.

What if an amnesiac Sonny wants absolutely nothing to do with Carly and decides to stick with Nelle? That would certainly be different and unexpected, but different and unexpected is what GH has been delivering for a while now, which makes this story perfect soap opera.
