General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, June 17, 2020, reveal a devastated Carly as Sonny fights for his life in this blast from Carson’s past… September 14, 2015, to be exact. You won’t want to miss a moment of this dramatic classic episode.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) is in critical condition after being shot. He and Carly (Laura Wright) were supposed to be getting married and instead, she’s scared that they won’t be getting their happily ever after. Michael (Chad Duell) is right there by her side and noticed a piece of paper in Sonny’s jacket — his dad’s vows.
Sitting vigil in the hospital chapel, Carly reads the vows he wrote for her while alone — after she thanks Michael for his support. She remembers their many ups and downs over the years, which only solidifies her love for the man she hopes will survive so he can once again become her husband.
Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) continues to investigate what happened and updates Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) about Julian (William deVry) being spotted on the pier. After thanking her for riding with his dad in the ambulance, he lets her know that her father is in lockup. Dante asks Patrick for an update on his dad, and Patrick will have troubling news.
Morgan (Bryan Craig) stays by Sonny’s bedside and his thoughts are on Julian. When Dante arrives, he wants an update — determined to make sure that if Julian goes free, he doesn’t get another chance to finish off their father. After Dante updates him on Julian, a furious Morgan will lash out, believing that Julian will walk free anyway.
After ‘Jake’ (Billy Miller) saved Sonny by gunning down three men, Elizabeth wants to finally tell him the truth about who he really is. She will try to give context to her betrayal, talking about her long rivalry with Sam and how they both had kids with Jason — but the two get interrupted by little Jake, who wants the big one to tuck him in.
Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Franco (Roger Howarth) are free from jail and set up Ric (Rick Hearst) in order to free Nina from their marriage. Ric has no choice but to do as they say, which also causes him to lose any claim on her money. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
