General Hospital spoilers for Monday, June 29, 2020 reveal that Sonny doing the unthinkable in this blast from Sonny and his kids’ past… January 29, 2010, to be exact. You won’t want to miss a hair-raising moment of this exciting classic episode.
Everyone’s minds are on the upcoming christening of young Josslyn Jacks. Even Sonny (Maurice Benard) will be getting ready for the blessed event but that doesn’t stop him from talking mob business with Jason (Steve Burton).
Everything is set to take out Dominic (Dominic Zamprogna), who is really an undercover Dante. They want him to pay for infiltrating their inner circle.
The two will come thisclose Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) catching them. She warns her ex-lover to not ruin the day for his other ex, Carly (Laura Wright). But when has Sonny ever worried about what anyone else thinks when he feels righteous about a move the rest of humanity (or at least Port Charles) may frown upon?
One person who has had it with Sonny’s behavior and the man himself is Jax (Ingo Rademacher) — and he’s done something to try to remove the man from his and Carly’s lives. He admits to his visiting mother, Lady Jane (Barbara Tarbuck), that he has a secret he’s keeping from his wife and when he tells her about it, Lady Jane will point out he may have made a huge mistake.
But Jax refuses to regret helping Dante with his case against Sonny. He’s determined to prove he can keep his family safe, especially Josslyn, and this latest move is how he’s doing it. He does worry that Carly won’t forgive him for what he’s done but when she returns from visiting Sonny, she will do her best to make her husband feel secure in her love.
The investigator will recheck everything he’s prepared as he plots his next move but Ronnie worries that Dante may tip off Sonny about his upcoming arrest. Apparently, Ronnie has noticed a change in Dante as this investigation has progressed but Dante remains indignant about integrity being questioned.
It will all come to a head when Dante goes to see Sonny. The mobster will keep his word to Jason to end things for the young cop but Sonny will be thrown for a loop when a distraught Olivia sees what he’s done and announces he’s shot his own son.
