General Hospital spoilers for Monday, June 15, 2020 reveal a day of danger and confessions in this blast from Sonny and Carly’s past… February 7, 2007, to be exact. You won’t want to miss an emotional moment of this classic episode.
The Metro Court hostage crisis is in full swing and so much is being asked of people that they normally wouldn’t ever do — and that includes Carly (Laura Wright) performing surgery on Robin (Kimberly McCullough). Yes, you read that right. But of course, somehow Carly, with an able assist from Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Patrick (Jason Thompson) on the phone, prevails.
While Carly is pulling off that feat, Sonny (Maurice Benard), who has been beaten up, is tossed into a room with Lulu (Julie Marie Berman). They support each other but soon Carly arrives and Lulu is returned to the lobby. This will lead to an incredible admission by Sonny, about his feelings for Carly, that you won’t want to miss.
Things don’t go well for Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) when Dr. Ford tosses her out of Lorenzo’s (Ted King) room but things get even worse when she starts to get dizzy and is admitted to the hospital (against her will). Ric (Rick Hearst) gets wind of this and goes to check on her. Skye (Robin Christopher) is furious that Patrick messed up Lorenzo’s memory.
Back to the hostage situation, during the excitement over surgery, Sam (Kelly Monaco) was able to pocket the knife that was used and slips it to Father Ruiz, hoping the priest will be able to use the element of surprise, considering his vocation.
Or at least Jason (Steve Burton) is trying. He enlists Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), who is all-in on this rescue mission since he wants to help save Lulu. They try to access hospital cameras. But as if Jason isn’t busy enough trying to save the world, he will also have to calm down poor Michael, who is understandably worried about his folks.
Patrick is also worried — but about Robin. He and Mac (John J. York) support each other during Robin’s crisis but despite the lifesaving work of Carly, something goes wrong (can you believe it?!) with Robin who will wake up with a shocking development!
