General Hospital Spoilers Highlights

General Hospital is doubling down on its exploration into the complicated relationship that exists between Sonny and his brood. While the previous week included interactions with Dante, Morgan, and Avery, the next collection promises to put the emphasis on the boy that Sonny adopted and raised from birth and the biological daughter he didn’t learn about till she was a toddler.

Hit and Miss

On Monday, July 6, there’s a flashback to the spring of 2010 when Sonny nearly lost Michael to an assassin’s bullet. The Dimpled Don of Port Charles had been the hired killer’s actual target – Sonny really shouldn’t have angered Claudia (Sarah Joy Brown) and Johnny (Brandon Barash) – but poor Michael finds himself caught in the crossfire. And all the little guy wanted to do was visit his dad at work!

Crime & Punishment

Michael (Chad Duell) and the ramifications of his murder of Claudia are spotlighted in the episodes airing on Tuesday and Wednesday. In the former, he confesses to the actual deed – who knew that an ax handle was just as lethal as the blade itself? – and in the latter, he is sentenced to a lengthy stint in prison.

Kristina: Sweet Child O’ Mine

Kristina’s life hangs in the balance on Thursday, thanks to a repeat from January 1, 2011. In that show, Sonny visits his daughter in the hospital, praying that the injuries she sustained in a bus crash will not be fatal.

A Father’s Love Is Unconditional

On Friday, it’s back to July 2016, and Sonny has some important things to tell Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth). Firstly, he knows about her same-sex relationship with Parker Forsyth (Ashley Jones).
