General Hospital Spoilers (GH) for May 11-15, 2020, are here! Find out what Sonny (Maurice Benard), Carly (Laura Wright), and other PC power players are plotting this coming week.
The custody hearing for Wiley (Theo and Erik Olsen) is finally here and everyone is lined up in court to see if they can strip Nelle (Chloe Lanier) of her parental rights. It’s a bold move and Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) are all for it, but Nelle is nowhere to be found. Does she have something else up her sleeve or has something unforeseen happened to her?
Plus, as Sonny (Maurice Benard) wants to be there to support Michael in this battle against Nelle, he also has to contend with Mike’s (Max Gail) deteriorating condition. He begs his father to tell him what to do about the DNR. Does Mike have an answer this time and will that answer satisfy Sonny? See it all for yourself in the General Hospital spoilers preview promo above.
General Hospital History
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running sudser, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.
The daytime drama outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households! From Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) gripping romance and wedding, to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH knows how to please their viewers.
Bringing the Drama
More than five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime sudser on the air as other soap operas were axed. It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include Days of our Lives, The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB). GH airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
