General Hospital spoilers for Tuesday, June 9, 2020 reveal that Maxie can’t wait for the hospital, which means Peter has to wait for his big meeting with Anna in this blast from Nurses Ball past… May 21, 2018, to be exact. You won’t want to miss an exciting moment of this classic Nurses Ball episode.
Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) water has broken and that means, according to her at least, that Peter (Wes Ramsey) needs to stop the car and let her give birth by the side of the road. He will deliver his nephew (which at this point Maxie is still clueless about), but then look for him to send her on her way by ambulance — he has another fish to fry.
Anna (Finola Hughes), said fish from above, grows anxious as she waits for Heinrik to come meet his mother. In the meantime, others are just anxious to figure out where Anna has gone because there’s a good chance she’s in big trouble. One person who knows what she’s facing better than anyone else is Peter’s partner-in-deceit, Valentin.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) enjoys the accolades over his singing but it’s short-lived when Robert (Tristan Rogers) punches him right there on stage. He also arrests him. Nina (Michelle Stafford) is left with questions as Valentin admits that Anna is headed for a trap. This leaves Lucy (Lynn Herring) apologetic as the Nurses Ball needs to get back on track.
Jason (Steve Burton), also worried about what Heinrik could do to Anna, is working his own angle with Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Sam (Kelly Monaco). Spin works his magic hacking powers to get into Peter’s email. But will he find what Jason needs in time to be of any good?
Ava (Maura West) gets jealous when she sees that Griffin (Matt Cohen) is comforting Kiki (Hayley Erin) after Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva) catches her backstage in a slip. She soon takes to the stage and sings You Don’t Own Me to Sonny (Maurice Benard), which causes its own bit of a scene.
No worries — nothing can spoil this Nurses Ball for the mobster. Sonny helps Mike (Max Gail) when he stumbles through a song and it provides an amazing moment for the duo that will not soon be forgotten — by anyone in town.
